Here are some useful scripts for Maya:
drLocalWorld.mel - This script will automate most of the process of creating local/world constraints for the animators. We all know how great it is to seperate the animation hierachy for independent control and motion. Assuming you need to use this setup more than 10 times on any given rig, it can save quite a bit of time.
drAlignControl.mel - This script will align FK style controls and connect them automatically. Also useful for grouping to self (for null values or padding). Also features a semi-automatic renaming script useful for hierarchies that require specific names for joints (ltHipJnt, ltKneeJnt, etc.).
*Sample rigs (Maya 8.5 required, to be safe):
amphibianRig_V2.zip - This biped rig (second creature featured in my demo reel) comes fully equipped with IK/FK limbs, a spline/FK spine, and an intuitive facial GUI.
quadRig_V2.zip - This quadruped rig (first creature featured in my demo reel) comes fully equipped with IK/FK limbs, squash and stretch controls, and the ability to easily add dynamics to its spikes. Also comes with an intuitive facial GUI.
* Rigs may have weighting issues because of version differences.
